First of all , let me tell you that you can do this trick in Google chrome only. So you should have google chrome installed on your computer.
STEP 2:
Now just install GOOGLE CUSTOM BACKGROUND extension to your Google Chrome.
STEP 3 :
Now you will get below type of screen in front of you which will help you to customize your Google Homepage. You can also achieve this by opening google.com and then click on Change Background Image as shown in below screenshot.
